Like a lot of modern video games, WWE 2K22 features four difficulty settings by default, allowing players to choose between Easy, Normal, Hard, and Legend options. What a lot of players might not realize though is that it's possible to fine-tune the game's difficulty even further in order to find the perfect balance between challenging and fun. Well, either that, or to farm the digital currency that's needed to unlock new superstars from the store.

In order to change the game's difficulty beyond the four main settings, players will need to use a set of special sliders that control how the game is balanced. There are a lot of them to choose from, but changing just one or two of them can significantly alter the gameplay experience. Whether players want to make WWE 2K22 a little easier or crank the difficulty right up to 11, these sliders are the way to do it.
In order to change the game's difficulty with sliders, players will first need to make their way to the "Options" menu. Once there, they should use R1 / RB to cycle across to the «Balancing» submenu, from which they'll be able to change a wide variety of settings. These include A.I. reversal rates as well as how much damage is dealt by a single blow. It's important to note though that these options won't carry over to competitive game modes, so players won't be able to use them to cheese MyFaction.
That's not to say that there aren't still some practical reasons for players to tweak the difficulty this way though. In fact, there are several. Perhaps the biggest is to farm the game's virtual currency, which can be used to gain access to a veritable treasure trove of new Superstars, Arenas, and Championships from the game's store.
