Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 has been ongoing for several weeks now. While most of the exciting content drops came with the Season’s launch,Call of Duty: Warzone fans have been waiting patiently for the midseason update so that they can see what Rebirth Reinforced is all about.
Currently, details on the new version of Rebirth Island are fairly limited, though the updated map was teased in the blog post detailing Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2’s content. Here, Raven Software promised “substantial changes” to the map and shared an image of what looks to be a new area. According to the developer, “something lurks within Rebirth Island’s Shadows,” a vague description that could suggest Rebirth Island will soon be worked into the ongoing Vanguard narrative.

Now, a new teaser for the updated island was posted by the official Raven Software Twitter account, and fans can see the map’s logo as well as the points of interest it will feature. Based on the points of interest showcased, Docks and Stronghold will serve as brand-new areas to fight in. Many of the major locations from the original map still seem to be present, with areas like Chemical Engineering and the Nova 6 Factory both present. However, even if similar names are reused and some assets remain, the map could end up playing a lot differently from how it does in its current state.
Rebirth Island Reinforced could be comparable to Verdansk 84 in the sense that it reworks building interiors and provides visual changes to the map as a while.
