A new patch update is now available for WWE 2K22, which includes fixes for not only the gameplay, but a few game modes as well. Since the title's launch, the most prevalent issue has been server stability problems, rendering players unable to play game modes such as MyFACTION, and being able to create and upload custom wrestlers. The new 1.05 patch introduces some quality of life improvements to the game, as well as improving server stability.
The previous installment in the WWE 2K franchise, WWE 2K20, became infamous for the amount of bugs it had at launch. Thankfully, WWE 2K22 hasn't faced similar issues, partially due to the fact developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Sports took a year off between releases to avoid another repeat of 2K20. The end result has been a much-improved game, with WWE 2K22 receiving good reviews and a better reception among the fanbase.
