The newest update for Horizon Forbidden West is out now, delivering balance updates, a range of fixes, and lots more. For the purposes of this update, developer Guerrilla said it combined updates 1.10 and 1.11 into a single patch, and it's out now across PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
In terms of fixes, the main quest The Broken Sky should no longer stop players from interacting with Kotallo after fast-travelling. Additionally, The Wings of The Ten mission could, in rare occasions, block the objective from updating, which in turn stopped players from progressing, but this is now fixed.

For Machines, this new update fixes a problem with the Bristleback where its Apex version might never spawn. The patch also addresses an issue that blocked players from being able to collect the Mining Claws from the Rockbreaker's Apex version.
There are also some UI changes, including how Forbidden West will now correctly highlight a chosen quest in the Quests tab in your journal. There was also an issue causing an infinite black screen for some players at the workbench, but that's been fixed, too.
What's more, subtitles have been added to the lyrics of Forbidden West's title song, «In The Flood.» Guerrilla Games wants to hear fans belt out the tune. «Time for a karaoke session!» the studio said.
