The hope is that this extra development time will help WWE 2K22 avoid the pitfalls that its predecessor experienced and result in a better WWE game overall, and while it remains to be seen if it will stick the landing, fans will find out how it fares sooner rather than later.
The WWE 2K22 release date has been confirmed for Friday, March 11, with fans able to choose from four different versions of the game. There's the Standard Edition, Cross-Gen Bundle, Deluxe Edition, and nWo 4-Life Edition, all with different price points and different content on offer.

The Standard Edition of WWE 2K22 retails for $59.99 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but it's a little more expensive on next-gen consoles. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of WWE 2K22 Standard Edition costs $69.99 and there's no free upgrade, so fans should keep that in mind.
Regardless, those that purchase the Standard Edition will get the base game. WWE 2K22 pre-orders will get fans the Undertaker Immortal Pack, which comes with three alternate costumes from various points of the legendary superstar's career. The Undertaker Immortal Pack includes his Phantom Mask, Lord of Darkness, and Boneyard Match attires, so fans of the Phenom may very well want to pre-order WWE 2K22 if they're planning on picking the game up. Undertaker-themed MyFACTION EVO cards will also be available in the pack.
