Wuthering Waves Release Date Announced Along With New Launch Bonuses!

Kuro Game has finally revealed the Wuthering Waves release date in a livestream earlier today. This free-to-play open-world action RPG will be available on Android on May 22nd, 2024. The livestream also revealed tons of other new details about the game.

Coming from the creators of Punishing Gray Raven, Wuthering Waves had its first reveal back in May 2022. It underwent its first closed beta in March 2023 and a second round of closed beta testing in January 2024 for both Android and iOS.

The pre-registration event for Wuthering Waves has already amassed an impressive 16 million pre-registrations. Reaching these milestones unlocks awesome goodies for players, like Sigil: En Route, 20 Lustrous Tide and a Ranger’s Series Weapon of Choice.

Now, along with the Wuthering Waves release date, they’ve also announced the official release bonuses that you can snag as soon as the game drops. Some of the cool bonuses include upgrading Union Level to get a 5-star weapon of your choice and even the chance to snag Resonator Yuanwu. Check out the full list of bonuses in the image below.

The recent livestream provided updates on several key features, including improvements to the Echo System and storyline. A new Data Merge Feature allows players to convert useless echoes into new ones, and echo tuners will now be returned when Tuned Echoes are consumed.

Storyline and quest line arrangements have been enhanced to make the initial hours of gameplay more intense and engaging. Expect new surprises, twists, and enemies. A new companion quest for Yinlin was also revealed along with the Wuthering Waves release date. This quest, ‘Solitary Crusade,’ will be a journey filled with perilous discoveries and secrets of an undercover agent with ambiguous morals.
