WrestleQuest smashes together old-school, turn-based RPG mechanics and some of the biggest wrestling personalities of all time into a quivering, sweaty mass. It looks like pure comedy gold, and tragically, has been delayed until summer, with the outrageous outing previously due out some time in May.
The reason for the delay is more intriguing than the usual need for more bugs to be quashed and pixels to be shined. According to developer Mega Cat Studios, it's because at this late hour, the project «secured a new partnership we are extremely excited about» that has unfortunately «resulted in certain issues outside of our control».
Considering that WrestleQuest already purports more than 50 hours of gameplay and looks and sounds fantastic from what we have seen so far, we think we can hold out a little longer. A delay is never a bad thing, right?
