While the Apple iPhone 14 series is still quite a while away, it has not stopped people from wondering about the upcoming smartphone. And new cutout renders shared on the Internet have restarted the conversations around its look. Some new renders have come up lately from concept creators, highlighting a two-hole concept, which might be a new design direction for Apple. This comes after developer Jeff Grossman tweeted a mockup image of iPhone 14 Pro with a pill-shaped camera hole cutout.
Now, Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) took to twitter to share a new design with two holes - one round hole and a pill shaped hole at the top of the phone. This new design for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is said to be unique to Apple.
“We now believe that Apple will have a hole + pill design on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. The smaller hole will not be invisible. The two hole concept will be unique to Apple, like the notch, not similar to all the pill models from Huawei,” he said.
The reason for this leak to create such a buzz is that Young has been a credible source for news around Apple in the past. Considering the track record, many now believe that this might be the final look for Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
If this leak is to be believed, it may put rest to the rumour that Apple will push the Face ID technology under the display. It is believed that the hole cutout will be on the right and contain the front camera, while the pill cutout on the left will have the Face ID system.
