Lucasfilm casts Game of Thrones alum, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, in its upcoming Willow TV show. The Disney+ series is based on the 1988 film of the same name that was created by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard. The movie is a dark fantasy in which Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis), a farmer and aspiring sorcerer, embarks on a quest to protect a baby girl from an evil queen. In 2020, a spinoff series was announced that would follow a princess and her party of adventurers on a quest to rescue her twin brother. Davis returns to play Willow alongside a cast that includes Tony Revolori, Amer Chadha-Patel, Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, and Talisa Garcia.
Although Willow is now in post-production, Lucasfilm has revealed another member of the cast. Deadline reports that Game of Thrones alum, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, has been cast as a yet unnamed recurring character in the Disney+ fantasy series. In Game of Thrones, Sellers portrayed the Sand Snake Tyene Sand, and reports indicate Sellers' Willow character will have a similar wit and resourcefulness she was known for on Game of Thrones.

There has been speculation surrounding the rest of the Willow cast ever since Davis was confirmed for the Disney+ series, because the spinoff series comes more than 30 years after the original. The series' Disney+ Day promo even poked fun at how young the new cast is. Still, despite most of Willow's actors being younger than its inspiration, with previous roles in hits like Game of Thrones and Spider-Man: Homecoming, they won't be short of experience. Willowis set to be released later this year.
