The 4.2 livestream was postponed indefinitely by developer HoYoverse, a few hours before it started. The special event was due to happen this Friday morning (27) as a way of exhibiting all the new planned content for the next update of the popular action RPG. The game receives a new patch every six weeks and, two weeks prior to each update, HoYoverse holds a related livestream event so that players can check out the new character banners, story updates, limited-time events, and more.
The special 4.2 livestream was bound to introduce Furina and Charlotte as two new playable characters, as their debut has already leaked. In fact, their entire gameplay kits have leaked, meaning it is about time they are added to the game. Additionally, the livestream would also give out special promo codes that would allow players to claim prizes, including free Primogems. This will still happen at some point, but not now.
