As his name suggests, Gorr is set out to kill all gods after he suffers a personal tragedy. He blames the higher entities for his misfortunes after they ruthlessly invalidated his grief. Powered by the necrosword, he goes on a quest to fight them off until Thor catches wind of his crusade in Thor: Love and Thunder. Together with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who is now a hero herself after picking up Mjolnir and becoming the Mighty Thor, and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), as well as, Korg (Waititi), they go on a mission to stop Gorr the God Butcher.

In a new video released by Marvel Entertainment to promote Thor: Love and Thunder, Bale reveals details about his favorite scene he worked on as Gorr the God Butcher. Unfortunately for him, Marvel Studios decided to cut the scene. Read his whole story below:
My biggest inspiration for Gorr is a music video and Taika and I did this scream that's in that video but did not see the light of day in that film. So my favorite bit is doing that. So I just kind of screamed through it for 30 seconds straight and Marvel went 'no.' That's not ending up in the final cut but I enjoyed it immensely.
