Samsung has confirmed that it will be hosting its latest Galaxy Unpacked event next month where the company will unveil the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. As part of the announcement, Samsung stated the event will see the introduction of "the most noteworthy S series ever created" suggesting it will be an important device for the company. According to previous leaks, Samsung is expected to integrate qualities of the Galaxy Note lineup into the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
A plethora of leaks and rumors about the Galaxy S22 series have been circulating on the internet in recent weeks and months. Earlier this year, unofficial renders of the Galaxy S22 surfaced online, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra has been tipped to feature the fastest S-Pen yet, resulting in roughly a three times improvement in latency. Even more recently, a report revealed that the Galaxy S22 Plus could come with multiple improvements over its predecessor, including a display with a peak brightness of 1,750 nits.

The next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled to take place on Feb. 9, 2022. At the event, Samsung will reveal the Galaxy S22 lineup, consisting of the vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. In addition, Samsung might also unveil the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which contains the regular Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus, and Tab S8 Ultra. If Samsung does launch a total of six new devices at Galaxy Unpacked 2022, it will be one of the biggest events held by the company in a long time.
