Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 could be another “noteworthy” addition to Samsung’s flagship lineup. Based on a new leak, its is now said that Samsung is considering building the S Pen silo inside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. No details on where the S Pen could be tucked in but it seems the stylus could rest within the body in a similar fashion to the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The information comes from South Korea’s The Elec, which states that Samsung’s next big foldable flagship. It says that the Fold 4 will come with a digitizer embedded into the flexible OLED panel but it will use an electromagnetic resonance method. This means the stylus won’t need the S Pen stylus. The Fold 4 is also said to have a larger 7.56-inch main foldable display, although the variation is barely differentiable.
The outer Cover display will be slightly smaller though at 6.19-inches instead of the 6.2-inches Cover display on the Fold 3. Samsung is also said to be focusing on the durability of the phone as well.
The inclusion of the S Pen within the body of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 seems like Samsung’s efforts to dissolve the Note line-up across various flagship devices. Sadly, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is unlikely to get the S Pen treatment.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4, which will be unveiled with the Fold 4, will have a 6.7-inch main display and a 1.9-inch external display, says the report. The main screen size will more or less be the same as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 but the external display is larger than the older 1.83-inch display.
Samsung is yet to come up with any official information on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 generation foldable displays.
The company just launched the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is the successor
