Pokemon players are completionists by nature. The Pokemon Company fostered this culture within the community with decades of «Gotta Catch 'em All» marketing. It's no surprise then that Pokemon Legends: Arceus players are racing to complete the game, whether that means collecting all of Arceus' Pokemon or finishing all the game's quests. Needless to say, those Pokemon Legends: Arceus players weren't pleased to find that completing all the game's quests doesn't come with any kind of reward.

It's a simple way of conveying what a dumb decision it is on Nintendo's part not to include any reward for the accomplishment.
