Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who dishes out some of the most reliable Apple insider information, suggests that the iPhone SE 3 could have the same storage configuration as the 2020 iPhone SE. That means the base variant will come with 64GB of storage whereas the mid-model could get 128GB. Apple could also offer a 256GB variant of the iPhone SE 3. This is quite different from the standardised 128Gb storage on the iPhone 13 lineup.
Most smartphones launched these days around the $300 mark offer 128GB of storage as standard, along with 8GB of RAM. While iPhones never have to worry about low RAM capacity, the storage bit is concerning. The 64GB storage may not be enough for a user in 2022 to store their data and install apps, all while iOS itself installs its updates and expands its files with future updates.
Obviously, the 64GB storage could help Apple achieve a much lower starting price on the iPhone SE 3.
