The iPhone SE 3 is all the hype at the moment, despite it being expected to be the most affordable and basic iPhone Apple could be launching lately. Based on the iPhone SE 2020, the new model could offer 5G connectivity and a massive boost in performance; although the current model is no slouch either. A slightly worrying leak comes in the form of limited 64GB of storage on the base model but there’s more to this new iPhone SE.
Ming-Chi Kuo, the popular Apple analyst, suggests a few details on the iPhone SE 3, and while most of them are no surprise, Apple fans will happy to learn about one – the colours. The iPhone SE 2020 model came in three interesting colours and the same is said to happen with the iPhone SE 3. Kuo says that the usual Black and White colour variants will happen on the iPhone SE 3. Other than that, the one special variant is also coming back – Product Red.
The Product Red variant has been a staple on the affordable iPhone models across all the series. The iPhone SE has had it and still continues to sell. Apple also offers the red variant on the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13. However, the shade of red varies from every generation. It is the red iPhone SE that is.. err.. the most red iPhone in the lineup.
Weirdly, Apple has been teasing a myriad of colours on its Apple Event teaser. The rumoured new MacBook lineup is expected to flaunt all those colours but what if Apple decides to bring the entire iPhone 13 colour palette to the iPhone SE? That could help Apple garner even more interest in the iPhone SE’s vintage design.
Kuo also goes on to say that the iPhone SE 3, or iPhone SE 5G, or the new iPhone SE, will have the same A15 chip from the iPhone 13, and support both mmWave and Sub-6 5G network
