Samsung has just announced the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and its display looks fantastic. While the other two smartphones in the series, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus, have a flat display, the Galaxy S22 Ultra's display has a slight curve on the sides, giving it a premium feel. Further, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the largest of all, enabling users to experience and utilize the features of the S-Pen on a larger surface.
At the launch event, Samsung also revealed the price and availability of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. While the smartphone is already up for pre-orders on the official website, it will be available at retailers and other online stores from Feb. 25, 2022. Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra starts at $1,199 for the base model with 8GB of RAM of 128GB of internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1440 x 3080 pixels. The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with an impressive pixel density of 500 pixels per inch for a smartphone with a large form factor. Further, the display also supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz in Game Mode. However, that is not the most exciting aspect of the device. Samsung says that the Galaxy S22 Ultra can achieve a peak brightness of 1750 nits. Other flagships like iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pixel 6 Pro come with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and 800 nits, respectively.
