Apple iPhone 14 is one of the most awaited smartphones and fans want to know about even the smallest of updates related to it. Though the launch of the iPhone 14 is not yet officially confirmed, but it is expected to be rolled out in September 2022. Much ahead of its launch, a lot of reports are circulating over the internet speculating about the details of iPhone 14. As per the reports, 4 iPhone 14 models, that is, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to be released this year. According to a latest report, iPhone 14 Pro, which is said to be the successor of iPhone 13 Pro could be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM. This is a first for Apple and therefore qualifies as a big deal. This was reported by MacRumours and it cited a Korean blogger for it.
As per a blog post by 'yeux1122' on the Naver blog (in Korean), iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to feature 8GB RAM which is the same as in the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+. Not just Samsung, other companies are already offering the same in their midrange Android smartphones. However, for Apple, this would be a massive rise over the 6GB of memory available in the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro, which is presently the highest memory ever offered in an iPhone.
According to the blog post, Apple is also said to be accelerating the schedule for mass production for the iPhone 14 Pro. Last year, a report from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu had also revealed that the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max models will both include 8GB of memory. While the non-Pro iPhone 14 models that is iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will have RAM of less than 8GB.
