Samsung is preparing to launch two new Galaxy M series devices in India. One of them is expected to be called the Galaxy M23 5G, while the other will be the Galaxy M33 5G. Yes, two 5G phones n the Galaxy M series! And surprisingly, both these phones were spotted listed on the Indian website, thereby suggesting an imminent launch in India. Leaks have also revealed the chipsets that will power these affordable Galaxy M series devices.
The Galaxy M23 5G and Galaxy M33 5G have been spotted on Samsung’s support pages in India, revealing support for Dual-SIM connectivity. A previous listing also revealed the Galaxy M23 5G to debut with Android 12. This phone is also expected to feature support for 25W fast charger from Samsung, and will have expandable storage via a microSD card slot. This phone was also spotted to run on the Snapdragon 750G chip from last year, and paired to 6GB RAM.
On the other hand, the Galaxy M33 5G was spotted on Geekbench with a Exynos 1200 chip. This is a new midrange chip from Samsung that could offer similar levels of performance as the Snapdragon 750G. The phone was also spotted with 6GB RAM and a 6000mAh battery.
What remains to be seen is how Samsung goes around with the pricing of these two phones. Galaxy M series devices with 5G chips are usually more expensive than their 4G counterparts. We believe the Galaxy M33 5G could take on the recently launched Realme 9 Pro and Motorola Moto G71, both of which are 5G phones under Rs. 20,000.
Samsung is yet to confirm anything on this topic, hence you should take this with a pinch of salt. The company just got done launching its flagship Galaxy S22 series in India a day ago. The Galaxy S22 starts at Rs. 72,999 whereas the Galaxy S22 Plus starts at Rs. 84,999.
