When is Rebirth Island coming to Modern Warfare 3?

With Season 1 already approaching its end, many are wondering if the Alcatraz-inspired map will be back in Warzone. So, when is Rebirth Island coming to Modern Warfare 3? Let’s find out, shall we?

Well, that’s a question that we are all asking ourselves and Activision. Since the devs removed Rebirth Island from Warzone in 2022, many players have been craving for its reintroduction. Arguably it would have taken a bit longer, but the sudden drop of Modern Warfare 3 – remember that there was no Call of Duty scheduled for 2023 – made all fans speculate that Rebirth Island could see the light of day once again.

Back in October 2023, before Modern Warfare 3 was released, Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software, and Treyarch presented the Call of Duty: Next event to all the franchise fans. And while Multiplayer and Zombies are great and all, one piece of information stuck the most: Rebirth Island is coming back in 2024. Well, we are in the middle of Season 1 and we haven’t seen any announcement, and it appears that Season 1 Reloaded will not reintroduce Rebirth Island either. However, we can certainly draw a line on when Activision will reintroduce the beloved Warzone map.

You see, Rebirth Island is actually on Warzone, but in the Warzone Mobile, that is. And while this is great news for everyone who does have phones – Blizzard reference, by the way – Warzone Mobile is undergoing a limited run. The actual full game will drop during Spring 2024. If we do some minor speculation, we could theorize that Rebirth Island could arrive in Modern Warfare 3 as soon as Warzone Mobile drops. That is, from March to June 2024.
