This new WhatsApp Camera UI will be available to iPhone users. The WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.4.0.72 brings this new WhatsApp Camera UI which is marked as compatible.
“The changes are already available to beta testers today, and more tweaks for the WhatsApp camera are likely to come with the next updates,” Wabetainfo informed. And what has been changed by this WhatsApp update? The horizontal media trail at the top of the camera icon which lets you choose the images directly from the gallery to upload on status will now be accessible through one more tap on the gallery icon button at the bottom left corner for iPhone users. In addition to this, the screenshot shared by Wabetainfo suggests that WhatsApp camera switch button too has been redesigned, which changes the camera from rear to front and vice versa.
