Hey! The FromSoft fan-base will shoot me for this… but I still maintain that Sekiro is the best output they have had, and remains their 'Magnum Opus' work, even slightly moreso than Elden Ring. Such a cool game, and an amazing sense of satisfaction when you beat a boss. Have you got to Lady Butterfly yet?
Been a strange gaming year for me, first year where I find myself gravitating moreso towards the Indie space (instead of AAA)
My top 3 GOTY so far:
1) Balatro
2) Nine Sols
3) Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (currently playing this, and am honestly blown away… its like a weird mix between old-School PS1 Resident Evil crossed with Myst!)
Just started GTA III Remastered last weekend and enjoying it so far. Never played the original trilogy before but so far so good.
@Khwarezm89 love those games and was really glad to hear the definitive versions are finally in a decent state. III is far and away the weakest out of the three but is still great… and should definitely be played first as it would be a big step-down if played after Vice City (most people’s favourite) and/or San Andreas (my favourite). It’ll be a while until I get around to them myself but I can wait tbh.

@CJD87 Sekiro is defo a close second to Elden Ring's crown for me. Hopefully FromSoftware will return to the series or something similar soon!
@JohnnyShoulder Yeah for sure, or do a new 'riff' on their established formula… perhaps FromSoft's take on a CRPG?! Dark Souls Baldurs...
Made the mistake of downloading Final Fantasy XIV and now it's nearly 5am and I've had to pull myself away from it to go to bed!
Wrapping up the Platinum for SotC Remake (first time playing.)
@colonelkilgore So far enjoying it. I've been doing a lot of side content too like Rampages, Vigilante and Taxi missions. And yeah I'm glad that I bought it after they fixed the game. I heard a lot of bad things about it at launch.
@BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN Holidays are going well, thanks! Hardly a holiday in
