After several years away from the role, Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman is once again getting into huge jacked man shape for Deadpool 3. Jackman is undergoing intense exercise to play Wolverine again, but physical work will only get you so far. To really pack on the muscles, Jackman is following a tailored eating plan that requires him to consume a lot of calories every day, giving his body the fuel it needs to endure punishing workout sessions.
This daily diet includes 2,000 calories of black bass with veggie rice and herb sauce, Patagonia Chinook salmon with potatoes that clocks in at 2,100 calories, two chicken burgers with sweet potatoes that are around 1,000 calories each, and two grass-fed sirloin noodle dishes that account for 1,100 calories each.

In an interview with Stephen Colbert (via Men's Health) earlier this year, Jackman revealed that he was eating 4,500-5,000 calories a day and was working his way up to 6,000 calories per day. «I’m just eating and training,» Jackman said. The actor has also explained that he'll be bulking up the old-fashioned way, and he'll avoid using any performance-enhancing drugs to restore his Wolverine physique. Jackman had recently been starring eight times a week in «The Music Man» on Broadway, a physically intense role that he credits with providing him a good foundation for starting and maintaining a rigorous training regime.
«We have six months from when I finish [The Music Man] to when I start filming,» Jackman explained. «And I'm not doing any other work. I'm going to be with my family and train. That’s going to be my job
