WARNING! Contains SPOILERS for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore revealed Credence (Ezra Miller) as Aurelius Dumbledore, Aberforth's (Richard Coyle) long-lost son, but it seems like Credence doesn't have long to live because of the Obscurus curse. The third of the planned five-movie series further explored Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) and Gellert Grindelwald's (Mads Mikkelsen) history, as well as the current events — Dumbledore's eclectic team trying to put an end to Grindelwald's reign of terror. Perhaps most importantly, Fantastic Beasts 3 cleared up the mystery around the Credence/Aurelius identity twist — however, this comes with some tragic news.

The Dumbledores' sister had repressed her powerful magic all her life after a group of Muggle kids viciously attacked her for being a witch. She died when she was 14, but not because of the Obscurus because of a three-way duel between Albus, Alberforth, and Grindelwald. Credence is the only known case of a young adult surviving the Obscurus, but inFantastic Beasts 3, he was said to be slowly fading away because of it.
