FIFA 22 has been criticized for having game modes that are either too repetitive or do not have any significant changes when compared to older titles in the series. As a result, many fans of the game are hoping that once FIFA starts releasing its own games with a new publisher, it will focus on improving these game modes and adding in modes that players have never played before. From the World Cup to Street Soccer, there are many game modes that could elevate future FIFA titles to become real competitors of EA Sports and shake up the soccer genre.
