The full trailer for WeCrashed from AppleTV+ starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway has been released. Leto and Hathaway star as Adam and Rebekah Neumann, a married couple who created the real estate startup WeWork, which went on to be a worldwide phenomenon in shared workspace properties. The show is based on the hit Wondery podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork. WeCrashed is created by Emmy nominee Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, who also serve as writers and showrunners.
WeCrashed is inspired by the real-life events of the WeWork phenomenon and its dramatic rise and fall from single coworking space to a global brand worth more than $47 billion to a company facing billions in losses per year. WeWork gained particular notoriety in 2019 when its IPO failed to launch after questions of governance and the ability to turn a profit over time. Joining Leto and Hathaway in the series is America Ferrera, Kyle Marvin, and O-T Fagbenle.
