Western Digital has finally announced its WD_Black Xbox Series X/S memory Expansion cards in collaboration with Microsoft.
For several years, the only manufacturer to offer Xbox Series X|S storage expansion cards was Seagate - and it was quite expensive. Although these cards recently received an official price cut, the price was quite steep - even for the entry-level 512GB version. Luckily, as of today, Xbox Series owners looking to expand their fast storage have a viable alternative available in the form of Western Digital's WD_BLACK C50 expansion cards. Available in 512GB and 1TB, these cards retail for $80 and $150 respectively. While Seagate's expansion cards can be found around the same price online, the WD_BLACK cards appear to be somewhat cheaper at retailers overall.
