Waven Starts a New Season, With New Competitive PvP Island, Refreshed Battle Pass, and Spooky Competition

Ankama Games has opened up a brand new season, Lance Dur, in Waven with Chapter 1: Cire Momore starting today. The update to the Early Access tactical MMO adds a new competitive PvE mode, rewards, an overhauled Battle Pass, and the spooky challenge  coincides with Halloween.

This chapter, the first in the three-month Lance Dur season, is named for the specter that haunts Waven, Cire Momore. Lance Dur is a new hero and you can preview playing as him in the new time portal that opened upin the World of Twelve. That time portal is also where you will find a fight waiting for you with Cire Momore. The specter is available to battle in the new PVE game mode on the competitive island in Waven that debuts with this update. You can do battle daily from now through November 21st when chapter 2 will drop. 

As you play as Lance Dur, you can Get a feel for his abilities, spells, and passives and see what kind of a strategy you can come up with. He's one of the Astramantis, warriors that wield lances. Cire Momore and the Deathburns will attack and you Can try to stay alive as long as possible to walk away with some Rewards and make it on the leaderboards.

If you enter this PVE challenge, you won't be able to escape, so try to stay alive. if you can do that you'll walk away with rewards and possibly make it on to the leaderboards. The top 100 on the leaderboards at the end of the season will get even more rewards like chests, Wakfu fragments and gems. Everyone will get 500 Wakfu fragments for just participating, even if you don't make the top 100.

Ankama has also overhauled the Battle Pass. This season, challenges worth 10-50 stars will refresh every week, and some of them are linked to the time portal. Take on the ones that you want,
