While promoting Stranger Things season 4, Millie Bobby Brown recounts an extreme prank she played on her co-star Noah Schnapp. Influenced by popular 1980s sci-fi and horror, Strangers Things explores the secret experiments going on in Hawkins related to the supernatural occurrences in their small town. After its premiere in 2016, Stranger Things quickly became one of Netflix’s most popular shows and launched the careers of its several young lead actors.
With a cast full of young actors, they often find themselves wrapped up in mischief as they reportedly play pranks on each other all the time. Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) further highlighted the cast’s affinity for pranks by partnering with Netflix yet again for a prank show called Prank Encounters. The show earned some mixed responses as it set out to prank unsuspecting job seekers by having their first day at a “new job” go awry. Following some criticism, Netflix assured viewers that everyone involved expected it to be a one-day job and were paid for their time on Prank Encounters. Matarazzo isn’t the only cast member who enjoys pranks, though.

While promoting Stranger Things, Brown recalls the final prank she took part in before filming concluded on season 4. Brown admits to the audience at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she is known for pranking on set, but Schnapp is intense in his dedication to a prank. Brown and the rest of the Stranger Things crew plotted to get revenge on Schnapp by tricking him into returning to set before pelting him with water balloons. Check out the clip below:
