Today was the big presentation by Microsoft and Bethesda set to reveal a slew of details about some of the most highly anticipated upcoming games. While the event that everybody has been waiting for since the outbreak of the pandemic, E3, has of course been canceled once again this year, showcases like this are the best that any of us could possibly hope to see. We got to gawk at some great gameplay videos from Redfall, Starfield, and several other games that are coming out later this year, most of which are going to be released right onto Game Pass.
The main highlights are of course the aforementioned Redfall and Starfield, but there was a lot to like in the showcase including Hollow Knight: Silksong, Minecraft Legends, and the incredibly interesting title from Obsidian, Pentiment. Hideo Kojima seems to also have an Xbox exclusive in the works.

Redfall is a co-op shooter in the Left 4 Dead tradition by the developer behind Prey and Dishonored, Arkane. The game was going to be released this year, but wound up being delayed into 2023. We got to see some footage that made Redfall look a little bit like a blend between Borderlands and Vampyr. This upcoming title pits players against a horde of vampires and their huge army of human worshippers who have somehow managed to block out the sun.
