Stranger Things season 5 producer Shawn Levy wants to include Ryan Reynolds in the Netflix original's final season. When Stranger Things premiered in 2016, the series introduced a group of up-and-coming actors, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers). These actors, Brown and Wolfhard specifically, are well-known at this point in their careers, but prior to Stranger Things, they were all relatively unheard of.

Levy made a name for himself as a director in the early 2000s with comedies like Cheaper by the Dozen and Night at the Museum, but his last two films starring Reynolds, Free Guy and The Adam Project, have been incredibly successful. In March, it was announced the duo would be reteaming for MCU's Deadpool 3, and Levy already has Reynolds in mind for other projects.
