The creators of Netflix's hit show address characters in Stranger Things season 4 seemingly forgetting about Will Byers' birthday creators. The Duffer Brothers took the streaming world by storm in 2016 upon premiering what's become Netflix's flagship series. The science-fiction show centers on supernatural events wreaking havoc in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana during the 1980s. After three seasons of permeating the pop culture stratosphere, audiences eagerly awaited the two-part Stranger Things season 4 4. Volume one finally dropped in late May, gifting viewers seven new episodes before the final two premiere in July.
Main cast members Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke all returned for Stranger Things season 4. With various storylines to balance, the Duffer Brothers shifted focus from the centerpiece of the Byers family, brought to life by Ryder, Heaton, and Schnapp. With this shift in focus (and the time of the year in which Stranger Things season 4 takes place), it appeared that Will Byers' birthday was forgotten by his friends and his mother.
