Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn teases his character Eddie Munson's fate at the end of season 4 volume 2. Quinn joined the ensemble cast of Stranger Things after the series underwent a three year hiatus, partially due to production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the science-fiction horror show returned to Netflix to much acclaim and continued the story of a group of friends in a small midwestern town as they battle inter-dimensional forces to save the world.
Stranger Things season 4 finds Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the Byers family relocated to California while the rest of the teenage gang attempt to create normal lives for themselves in Hawkins, Indiana. Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) both play Dungeons & Dragons in a group called the Hellfire Club, led by the uninhibited Munson. After one of the school's most popular cheerleaders is killed in Munson's trailer by the telepathic Upside Down being known as Vecna, Munson goes on the run with Dustin, Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin), Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer), Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke), and Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) vowing to protect him and prove his innocence.

Inverse recently caught up with Quinn, who hints at Munson's season 4 volume 2 fate. After his introduction to the world of Stranger Things, he quickly became a favorite amongst fans, with many wondering if he will return for season 5. With only two episodes remaining in volume 2, Quinn mentions that he had not shot any scenes with Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers, due to their storylines not intersecting.
