Screen Rant has the honor of presenting an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from Roland Emmerich's latest science fiction adventure, Moonfall, to celebrate its home release on April 26. The Lionsgate picture takes place in an alternate reality and follows a fatal accident during a repair mission that leaves astronaut Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom) publicly disgraced. When the Moon threatens to collide with the Earth a decade later, everything may change for Harper if he can change humanity.
Though Moonfall boasts a stellar cast - including Halle Berry (John Wick 3), John Bradley (Game of Thrones) and Michael Peña (the Ant-Man films) costarring alongside Wilson — it did not receive the attention it deserved at the box office. Thankfully, it has a second chance to flourish with this week's home release, which comes replete with an audio commentary from the writers as well as feature in which the megastructure theorist, K.C. Houseman (played by Bradley), shares several viral conspiracy videos.

Writer and director Roland Emmerich has had a long and storied career in the film industry, being best known for the sci-fi classic Independence Day as well as helming other iconic films such as 1998's monster movie Godzilla, historical epic The Patriot and disaster flick staple The Day After Tomorrow.
