Another State of Play showcase from Sony has now been and gone, this time sharing news for previously revealed indie and third-party games. A fairly low-key affair for saying it was only the second general State of Play livestream of 2023, but there were a few announcements and reveals to take note of.
The big piece of news was that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches for PS5 on 29th February 2024. Other reveals were the Resident Evil 4 DLC Separate Ways, an expansion for Tales of Arise, and focuses on indies like Baby Steps.

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
FF7 Rebirth looks amazing, and I'm sure Spider-Man 2 will be a hit, but otherwise it wasn't great.

It wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible like some people will try and make out it was. A solid 7/10 from me.
FF7 ReBirth, Avatar, HellDivers 2, Spiderman 2, Tales of Arise DLC, Resident Evil 4 DLC and Foamstars all looked great and all day one must haves after tonights SoP.
