The recently announced roadmap for has provided details for Season 3, the next wave of content confirmed as a free update for the game. Along with Packs for different Chapters, you can expect a wealth of added maps, ranks, and even a new game mode. After Season 2 dropped in October 2024, there's no doubt that Season 3 will also deliver interesting changes to explore.
As you may have seen from 's 2024 roadmap, Seasons 1 & 2 were the only ones planned for this year following the game's launch. Every Season of content is free to download except the Dark Angels Packs seen in Season 2. Those cosmetics for a fan-favorite Chapter of Space Marines were only available for those who had purchased the Season Pass.
As of this time of writing, Season 3 is expected to release in early 2025, likely in the first few months of the new year. Although there is no exact release date, the timeframe between Seasons 1 and 2 was only a month, making for a brief window between content drops. With the holidays in November and December, we may likely see Season 3 as early as mid to late January.

However, Season 3 does stand to introduce more content than the previous two Seasons combined. According to the roadmap shared by developer Saber Interactive, Season 3 is the largest DLC of the four planned Seasons announced before. As a result, it may take more time for Season 3 to come out, with a February or March 2025 window matching realistic expectations.
Similar to the Dark Angels Pack in Season 2, there will be two new Space Marine Chapters coming in Season 3. These Chapters will gain never-before-seen cosmetics as they are introduced, but only Season Pass holders will obtain new Chapter Packs. With over 30 existing Chapters in currently, there's a lot of speculation as to which faction of humanity players will see next.
