Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have released a fifth post-launch update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and though its headlining additions are obviously gameplay-related ones, as previously promised, the update does bring some notable tech features as well.
Specifically, Space Marine 2 is now officially PS5 Pro Enhanced. On Sony’s more powerful console, the third-person action title can now run at either 4K/60 FPS (in Quality Mode) or 4K/30 FPS (in Performance Mode), with the resolution being upscaled rather than native, which it does by making use of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR).
Speaking of upsampling tech, the update also adds support for DLSS 3 and FSR 3 with Frame Generation in the game’s PC version, so players can play a better looking and better performing version of the game on most platforms following its newest update.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
