Fatshark is set to mark the first anniversary of Warhammer 40K: Darktide with the release of a two part game update called The Traitor Curse.
A new cinematic trailer called ‘The Carnival’ gives us some insight into the motivations driving the Moebian 6th, a formidable traitor army led by the menacing Wolfer and accompanied by the heretical Carnak Twins, as they seize control of the eponymous zone coming with part one of the update later this month.
The new zone and it’s accompanying mission will see players assault the center of the Moebian 6th operations and beat back hordes of enemies.
Part one of the update also includes the ability to inspect player loadouts in The Mourningstar as well a myriad of tweaks and changes to the Veteran’s talent tree. The Veteran’s tweaks are said to be significant enough to necessitate a full talent point respect.
More will be coming to the game in December, but Fatshark isn’t sharing information on the content coming in part two of the anniversary update just yet.
We said Warhammer 40K: Darktide was an immersive, fun experience in our review earlier this year. Find it on PC and Microsoft Xbox X|S platforms.
