Almost 11 years since its original release, Warframe has announced that it is coming to iOS extremely soon. Until now, Warframe has only been playable on home consoles and PC, marking a huge step for the title.
Ever since Warframe was first released in 2013, the game has garnered a dedicated community thanks to developer Digital Extremes' commitment to releasing new content consistently. New expansions are still being released frequently, the most recent of which, Whispers in the Walls, was released in December 2023. With the upcoming iOS release, it seems as though the game's impressive run so far looks set to extend for some time to come, as more players get to experience everything Warframe has to offer.

The trailer also confirmed one more crucial piece of information, which should prove immensely exciting for Warframe fans. Gamers playing Warframe on iOS will have full access to their Tenno collection from other platforms, thanks to the Cross Platform Save functionality. On top of this, players can join their squadmates playing on other devices, furthering the cross-platform experience. There are plenty of things that Warframe does better than other MMOs, and it's exciting that developer Digital Extremes is committed to constantly improving the game and expanding it to a new player base.
