A new set photo from star Walton Goggins confirms that filming is underway for the Fallout TV show. Based on the acclaimed video game franchise of the same name, the Fallout TV show is a joint production between Amazon and Bethesda Studios from Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. While plot details regarding the upcoming series remain unknown, the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland version of America, with warring human factions and mutated radioactive creatures alike representing obstacles for the player.
In addition to Goggins, the Fallout series stars Ella Purnell, of Yellowjackets fame, and Kyle MacLachlan, who is best known for Twin Peaks. The games take place between the 21st and 23rd centuries and are renowned for their extensive world-building and harsh environments. The dusty and radioactive setting seems to have made its way to the world of the show, with recent photos from the set of Fallout confirming the return of Super Duper Mart and the franchise's signature rusted-out 1940s-style vehicles. Unfortunately, Amazon has yet to give Fallout a firm release date.

Now, hot on the heels of the first Fallout set photos hitting the internet, Goggins himself has posted a new picture to Instagram confirming that filming is underway. While Goggins' post doesn't show any more of the post-apocalyptic set, he reveals in his caption that yesterday was the first day of filming for the Amazon production. The post also hints at his potential character name, with «Ghoul» written on the outside of what could be his trailer door. Check out Goggins' post below:
