A viral TikTok video uploaded by user courtneygovan shows her reaction as a Starbucks she's at is playing the Animal Crossing version of "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers. This version, allegedly performed by traveling Animal Crossing musician KK Slider, appears to be the one uploaded by YouTuber Clay Kramer, whose channel is full of KK Slider covers of various other songs besides just "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers.

Courtneygovan's TikTok video has over 324,000 likes at the time of this writing and 1.4 million views. The video has also amassed over 2,600 comments as well, with commenters making jokes about how all the Starbucks employees at that particular coffee shop should get extra tips. Others joked about how the Starbucks was essentially The Roost, which is the coffee shop that Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can visit after downloading the 2.0 update.

Many of the other jokes on the video center around The Roost and the interactions Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can have with its barista, the fan favorite character Brewster. One commenter joked that next time they're in that Starbucks they should ask the barista if they have any pigeon milk available - pigeon milk being one of the more bizarre drinks that Brewster will offer
