Now, one fan is creating a real-life lightsaber replica of Frostmourne, the fearsome weapon of one of World of Warcraft's most famous villains.
Frostmourne is a two-handed longsword that features glowing blue runes, a jagged blade, and a horned skull on the crossguard. This necromantic blade can imprison the souls of its victims and transform the living into mindless undead. Arthas wielded Frostmourne throughout his time as a Death Knight and during his tenure as the Lich King until it was finally broken.

Tethan Props recently shared a photograph of a completed replica of Frostmourne, but reimagined as a lightsaber. Only the hilt is shown in the picture and accompanying in-progress video. Despite the lack of a blade, the sword is already incredibly detailed and strikingly game-accurate. This isn't the first time World of Warcraft fans have recreated the Lich King's regalia, but it has the potential to be one of the most spectacular.
