Capcom has given us a look at some gameplay footage from the upcoming Separate Ways DLC for the Resident Evil 4 remake.
We’ve put together some of the best bits from the footage into a highlights package, complete with commentary explaining the DLC in more detail.
You can watch the video embedded at the top of this story, or on our YouTube channel.
Separate Ways, which wasn’t included in the initial GameCube release but was later incorporated into other versions of the game, stars Ada Wong and provides a new perspective on the events of Resident Evil 4.
The footage from the new version shows Ada having a discussion with Wesker, who wants her to retrieve a mysterious item called the Amber.
It also shows some combat gameplay, including how Ada uses her special hookshot weapon to pull herself towards enemies.
A boss fight against El Gigante is also shown, highlighting how Ada can use the hookshot to jump from rooftop to rooftop to avoid the giant enemy’s attacks.
The Separate Ways DLC is coming to the Resident Evil 4 remake on September 21.
An update for the game’s Mercenaries mode will also be released on the same day, which will see Ada Wong and Albert Wesker being added as playable characters.
