Vampire Survivors Fights its Way to the Small Screen - Hardcore Gamer
After tasting delicious victory by winning two BAFTA’s and headlining Vampire Survivors’ DLC releases with a fancy animated trailer, developer poncle confirms the acclaimed comedic-gothic horror game is coming to small screen. Vampire Survivors is getting its very own animated show by Sonic movie producer Dmitri Johnson, and John Wick writer/creator Derek Kolstad.
The show will be created by media company Story Kitchen alongside developer poncle. “The most important thing in Vampire Survivors is the story, so it’s a dream come true to see what started as a little indie game I made on my weekends come to life as an animated TV show! I do wonder if they’ve realized that there isn’t a single vampire in Vampire Survivors, though,” says Luca Galante, founder of poncle. Vampire Survivors allows players to be the bullet hell in an addicting blend of story and gameplay. It is currently available on PC, Mac, Xbox, Android and iOS (and does not feature any vampires).
