Horses are passive mobs in V Rising that vampires can mount and ride as they travel about the world. These Mounts can spawn in multiple locations, primarily within Dunley Farmlands and Silverlight Hills. These two regions are directly above the starting area of the game, Farbane Woods. Therefore, players will only be able to get their first Horse once they've left this initial region in this survival-based open world.
Farbane Woods is full of Bandit Camps, but once V Rising players reach Dunley Farmlands, they will encounter their first Militia Camp. The Farms and Militia Encampments directly north of these first camps will have rideable Mounts. As mentioned above, Silverlight Hills to the northwest also has Horses, yet players are recommended to avoid this high-level area if they are still in the beginner stages of their playthrough. Additionally, the enemies and mobs within Dunley Farmlands are leveled at 30 and above. While it's possible to slip past the hostile patrols, it would be wise for players to reach Level 30 first and equip themselves with appropriate gear before venturing north of Farbane Woods.
