Those looking for the finer things in life during V Rising will need to farm up quartz in large amounts. Each lovingly crafted window requires refines quartz in droves. Whether it's flexing on other vampires or just getting to the top of the tech tree, it doesn't hurt to have a lot on hand.
V Rising: All Weapons, Ranked
The issue with quartz is that, while it can appear in stone fields or in designated areas, it's often still elusive. The quartz patches in V Rising grow in bunches, so areas that have quartz don't always have it left and right, just in specific, concentrated places.
Head to the Dunley Farmlands. A few places list quartz, but the very best location is in the Dunley Monastery, just to the left of the 'D' in Dunley Farmlands on the map. Once there, look at the easternmost point of the territory. It'll be behind the largest building.
V Rising: Best Abilities
There is a veritable field of quartz right here. Unfortunately for players who have enjoyed the convenience of fast travel, there aren't any local waygates nearby. Take care because high-level vampires travel this area frequently on PvP maps for lower-level vampires carrying quartz and gems.
Aside from watching out for opposing vampires in the region, don't hesitate to go into bat form while quartz hunting. The nodes are a bright white and easily visible from the skies. Plus, players can drop into the back of the monastery without having to fight the guards up front.
Like most other stones, quartz nodes prefer to be harvested with a high-level mace. Quartz is mostly used for decorative items, so if there is a risk of violence, come back later. It's nice to have stacks of quartz, but it rarely prevents players from progressing on their respective journies.
