As mentioned above, there are three tiers in the revamped PlayStation Plus. The first tier, PlayStation Plus Essential, will be the same as the current version of the service. It offers access to online services, two free games every month and discounts on PlayStation Store. The second tier, PlayStation Plus Extra, provides players access to 400 game titles from PS4 and PS5. The final tier, PlayStation Plus Premium, offers retro games from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP.
According to the company, the service will arrive in different regions at different times. The Asian markets received it first on May 23, and Japan will get it next on June 1. It will be followed up by America receiving the service on June 13 and Europe scheduled for the launch on June 22.
