Completed the story in Jedi Survivor yesterday. A good game, much better than the first in almost every regard. That being said as the story unfolded I became less interested in it. I didn't find the chief villains all that interesting and could see the plot twist a mile off. I don't envy any writer who takes on Star Wars simply because the original trilogy had such memorable characters inside a wonderful, exciting, roller-coaster of a tale that it's a hard act to follow. This is why I believe a lot of Star Wars related projects, (irrespective of medium), have always struggled to match it. However, as a video game there's a lot of fun to be had with Survivor — certainly where it counts. Combat is solid and traversal is challenging and fun.
I'm not one for long winded reviews so I'm not going to do one for Survivor. The bottom line is if you garnered some enjoyment out of the first game then you'll most certainly like the sequel.
