Blizzard has announced an update to the Hunter changes coming in Patch 10.0.7, reducing some of the compensation buffs coming to Beast Mastery Hunter. Our Marksmanship Hunter and Beast Mastery Hunter Class writers recently wrote an article on the compensation buffs that were coming in Patch 10.0.7 as Neltharax, Enemy of the Sky got nerfed.
On single target, these changes were previously an 8% buff single target (if you currently have a Bow) and a 16.5% buff single target (if you don't have a Bow) for Beast Mastery. From these changes, it seems like Blizzard didn't intend for this to be as big of a buff and are pulling it back.
After some discussion and monitoring feedback on these changes, there are a few adjustments being made for the next PTR build for Beast Mastery Hunters.Kill Command damage will be increased by 10%, down from 25%.Barbed Shot damage will be increased by 12%, down from 25%. Kill Cleave (talent) will now transfer 60% of Kill Command’s damage, up from 50%.The original post will be updated to reflect these changes as well..
