The summer months may well be a quieter time for gaming, what with most publishers saving their heavy hitters for the holiday season, but there are still plenty of titles launching over the next couple of months that are certainly worth a look.

On 20th July, EA brings us a new single-player FPS called Immortals of Aveum. It tells the story of Jak as he joins an elite order of battlemages to save a world on the edge of abyss, having players master three forces of magic and unleash spells to decimate legions of enemies. We were recently invited to check out the game's first-ever gameplay footage and came away rather impressed.

On 31st July, F1 Manager 2023 speeds onto PS5 and PS4.
This is the second F1 Manager game from Frontier Developments following its debut effort in 2022, including all of the current season's drivers, cars and circuits including the brand-new Las Vegas Strip.
